How to do Rise 2018 on a shoestring budget
Got a tight looking bank account but a HUGE sufferer of ‘fear of missing out’? Here’s how to enjoy Rise whilst spending the least amount of money…
Make the most of our top self-catering facilities
Our self-catering apartments start from £29 per night and are kitted out with full kitchen facilities, meaning a quick trip to the supermarket at the beginning of the week could feed you for the entire trip. Despite the appeal of the amazing restaurants that Les Deux Alpes has to offer, why not save a meal out in the resort as a treat on your final night or a special occasion and save your pennies for other exciting parts of the festival.
Buy your ski-wear off the high-street or borrow off a friend
We all want to look good at après but there is no need to spend a fortune. Shopping online is without a doubt the best bet, with ski jackets starting from as little as £24.99. If you’re really tight for cash, ask around your friends and family; ski clothing is durable, long-lasting and more often than not ‘one size fits all’ and therefore borrowing some second hand is a good way to go.
We also highly recommend charity shop sprees for old retro gear or our favourite TKMaxx which offers some fantastic deals on ski gear.
Earn your ticket for free with our Brand Ambassador Scheme
If you are planning on travelling within a large group, earn your ticket and pay nothing if you can manage to get four friends to buy their ticket through you once you sign up to our Brand Ambassador scheme. Once you have earned a ticket, you can be further rewarded with extras such as food prizes, drinks and even VIP access simply by making sales!
Swap the plane for one of our coach transfers
Through the Rise website, coach transfers from Leeds, Birmingham and London start at only £129 including luggage and its door to door – a lot cheaper than purchasing a flight as well as airport transfers. This is all in one cost with no hidden extras. And what’s more, a long coach journey is always fun with a group of mates.
Bring your friends and buy one of our package deals
Let alone saving money, but at least for convenience we offer package deals including festival tickets, accommodation and transfers for 2-16 people. This makes the holiday a lot cheaper per person and saves any hidden costs that you might come across during individual steps of the booking process.
No matter what your budget, Rise is the most accessible snow festival on the market allowing you to enjoy the mountains as well as the added bonus of world-class DJs playing throughout the week! What more could you ask for…
