There are a host of transport options to choose from depending on your budget, how long you want to spend traveling and your preferences for getting from A to Ski. 

Airport Transfers

Geneva is the most well connected airport for Rise, serving both international flights and budget airlines to all over the UK. These flights are usually available the earliest in the year, so are more likely to grab a bargain. You can book transfers directly with Rise Festival for Geneva.

You can book Saturday - Saturday return transfers (7th-14th) as well as early arrival (Friday 6th Dec) or late arrival (Sunday 8th Dec). Plus early departure (Friday 13th Dec). Mix and match to make your perfect itinerary!

Lyon is a little further away, but only by 45 minutes and is more connected.

Private Airport Transfers

We recommend using "Alpine Fleet" for all Geneva private transfer needs outside of the dates offered for the group transfers.

Airport transfers to rise

By Coach

Opt for the most environmentally friendly way to travel to France.

Travel directly to the festival site from London Victoria Coach Station. Using National Express search engine you can find a connecting bus from most areas of the UK to time in with the London coach departure.

By Train

If you’re looking for a sustainable travel option, getting the train to Rise will be your best bet. Train travel can be expensive, so to keep your costs down look at these tips below. 

  • Book your ticket in advance to get the best price possible 
  • Return tickets end up to be cheaper than two separately booked singles 
  • Sometimes you can get a Standard Premier seat for just a few pounds more than Standard class.
  • Look at using an InterRail pass for discounts 
  • Check for group and age related savings

Get the Eurostar from London to Paris. From Paris get a high-speed TGV train to Grenoble. From there you can work with our transfer operator, Ben’s Bus, for a cost effective transfer to Les 2 Alpes.

By Car

If you’re looking to make the most of your journey to Rise, then consider a road trip. Once you’ve crossed the channel, it’s a picturesque drive through France right to the Alps. Total journey time is just over 12 hours from London, but we recommend breaking up your pilgrimage into shorter stints to get the most out of your surroundings.   

If you’re considering a car hire amongst your group from Lyon, Grenoble or Geneva to Les 2 Alpes, there are plenty of rental companies to choose from. Make sure you do your research to find the best price.

Parking is free at Rise, so there’s no costly headaches upon arrival.
